You are putting 35hp in the mill at 540rpm with the tractor. With the electric motor, you will have 3460 rpm out of the motor that you will have to reduce to 550 rpm. What will happen is when you load the saw, it will slow the motor down too much and the motor will run hot. With a 1800 rpm motor, you would have better luck.
